Help & support

Most questions are answered below. Still stuck? Email support@fastesim.example and we will reply within a few hours.

How quickly will I get my eSIM?
Instantly. The QR code appears on screen the moment payment clears and is emailed to you at the same time — typically within 30 seconds. There is nothing to post and nothing to collect.
Do I keep my normal phone number?
Yes. A travel eSIM is a second line: your existing SIM stays in the phone and keeps your number for calls and texts, while the eSIM carries your data abroad. You can turn roaming off on your main line so you are never billed by your home carrier.
When does my plan start counting down?
Validity starts when the eSIM first connects to a network in your destination, not when you buy it. You can install it at home days before you fly and it will sit dormant until you land.
Can I use hotspot or tethering?
On the large majority of our plans, yes — you can share your connection with a laptop, tablet or a travel companion. Where an operator blocks tethering it is stated clearly on the plan before you buy.
What happens if I run out of data?
You can buy a top-up for the same eSIM in a few taps — no new QR code, no reinstalling. Your existing profile keeps working with the new allowance added.
Will it work on my phone?
It works on any unlocked, eSIM-capable handset: iPhone XS and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, and most recent mid-range Android phones. Dial *#06# — if you see an EID number, you are compatible.
Do I need signal to install it?
You need Wi-Fi or a working data connection to install the profile, which is why we recommend installing before you leave home. Once installed, activation on arrival happens automatically over the local network.
Can I get a refund?
If an eSIM has never been activated, we refund it in full within 30 days. Once a plan has connected to a network the data has been issued to you and cannot be returned, so check the coverage list before buying.
Is there a contract or auto-renewal?
No. Every plan is a one-off purchase that simply expires. There is no subscription, no rolling contract and no stored card charged later.
Can I use one eSIM in several countries?
Local plans cover a single country. If your trip spans borders, a regional plan covers a whole area — Europe, Asia, Latin America — on one profile, which usually works out cheaper than buying several local plans.
